Vietnam's responded quickly to Covid-19, closing borders and building excellent contact tracing systems. The response includes localised lockdowns.
As the days of no school and no work dragged on, local families found a new pastime - kites filled the skies over river, beach and rice field alike. Family units could practice social distancing while still enjoying a colourful community pastime.
