The job was for Metropolitan, Eurostar’s magazine. I was on the Eurostar recently with a bunch of sweaty and tired cyclists who had cycled from London to Paris, but that story will have to wait for another day.
As shoots go it was great, awesome location and 2 fantastically nice people to photograph, the day however was soooooo hot, I melted in their studios! They estimated that they had been photographed or filmed about 50 times in the weeks prior to this shoot so I was determined to depict them a little differently.
After getting a nice shot in the creative hub of their studio we went looking for unusual locations. Their studios are in an old Shoreditch factory with outstanding original industrial features and the alley behind the studio has a distinctive traditional exterior which made a perfect shot for the magazine.
I walked away happy but almost as sweaty as the cyclists.
